Guaranty Trust Bank Kenya is preparing for a leadership change, with Managing Director Jubril Adeniji set to leave after completing his tenure.
Adeniji has been recalled to the lender's parent company in Nigeria but will remain in office for the next 90 days to oversee the transition as the bank seeks regulatory approval for his successor.
GTBank entered the Kenyan market in 2013 after acquiring a controlling stake in Fina Bank and is part of the wider Guaranty Trust banking group, which operates across Africa and the United Kingdom.
The lender says its operations will continue uninterrupted during the leadership transition.
