Media has a key role to play in connecting people and strengthening ties between China and Kenya, Chinese Ambassador Guo Haiyan has said.
Speaking during a seminar on media and people-to-people connectivity, the ambassador highlighted the importance of storytelling in promoting friendship, mutual understanding, and cooperation. She also noted that 2026, designated as the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges, will feature nearly 600 activities focused on youth, culture, and media across Africa and China.
