The High court has declared the National Government, Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) unconstitutional. a three judge bench of the high court says the fund undermines the principle of devolution by creating an extra layer which the judges observe leads to wastage of public resources. and although justices Kanyi Kimondo, Mugure Thande and roselyn Aburili agreed that the law was unconstitutional, the judges could not agree as to when the programmes funded through the NGCDF should cease.
