High Court : Police recruitment to go ahead as planned

The nationwide recruitment of 10,000 police officers scheduled to begin this Friday will now go on as earlier planned. This is after the two petitions filed at the Milimani’s High Court seeking to stop the exercise were withdrawn on Tuesday. And as Ruth Wamboi reports, the petitioners finally realized that suspension of the recruitment would not be in the best interest of Kenyans, considering the limited number of police officers in the country.
