The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is asking the youth to come out in large numbers and register as voters as only four days remain before the exercise comes to an end.
The commission’s vice chairperson, Fahima Araphat, who led a team of officials, was speaking after taking part in a walk and visiting several centres, as well as meeting security officials in Taita Taveta. The IEBC reiterated that it is also targeting the registration of inmates to enable them to participate in the general election. The commission has further urged youth to ensure each one of them registers before the deadline.
