SOIL HEALTH AND FERTILIZER HUB
More than 63 million people across the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) region face food insecurity, with declining soil fertility, land degradation, and climate change continuing to undermine agricultural productivity. In response, member states have launched a regional platform aimed at strengthening soil health management and promoting sustainable fertilizer use. Aaron Marie reports.
