An Imam accused of obtaining money by false pretense has been arraigned at the Milimani’s Chief Magistrate Court. The office of the Director of Public Prosecution informed the Court that the suspect Ustadh Omar Athman Omar swindled over 700,000 shillings from a complainant under the guise he would organize a pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia only to vanish after receiving the money.
