Isiolo County Teaching and Referral Hospital has denied claims of mishandling a patient who was under Intensive Care at the facility.According to the Head of Intensive Care Unit at the hospital Franklin Mutuma, the medics strike in the county a week ago forced patients to seek medical care from other facilities. Mutuma further clarified that the patient continued to receive medical care despite the medics’ strike where she responded well to the medication and was in a position to be discharged for home-based care. Mutuma termed the allegations not true and is aimed at painting the hospital in a bad light
