A family in Bibirioni area of Kiambu county is appealing for financial aid amounting to 4.5 million shillings to cater for a kidney transplant for their kin. The 21-year-old Jonathan Kimani Waroja was diagnosed with lupus nephritis in 2024, a condition that later deteriorated, leading to kidney failure in December last year. The condition left him in constant struggle, as he depends on dialysis twice every week to survive. The doctors have recommended the urgent, yet critical process as the sole permanent solution to his condition.
