Judge Muchelule's pistol linked to slain robbery suspect

A pistol recovered from the house of suspected armed robber Vincent Ochieng, who was shot dead by police in Joska along the Nairobi–Kangundo Road, has been linked to Court of Appeal Judge Aggrey Muchelule. Detectives investigating the robbery case alerted Justice Muchelule after recovering the firearm, prompting him to report a missing weapon at Spring Valley Police Station. After checking his safe, the judge confirmed the recovered Beretta pistol was his and said he had last handled it in October 2025.
