Kasarani Stadium closed for major CAF-ready renovation works ahead of inspection

The Kasarani Stadium will close its gates on Monday for major renovation works ahead of the next inspection by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The entire playing turf will be removed with fresh grass planted. Major drainage works will be done on Annex ‘A’ and Annex ‘B’ training pitches, with two more training pitches constructed near the Kenya Academy of Sports. The work is expected to be complete in July.
