KBC to air AFCON matches next month, assures CS Mbadi

National Treasury cabinet secretary John Mbadi says the government is committed to modernising Kenya Broadcasting Corporation through funding to enable it fulfill its mandate as the state broadcaster. Speaking exclusively to Channel one, Mbadi said the government will facilitate KBC's live coverage of all AFCON matches scheduled for next month in Morocco, the World Cup slated for mid-next year and the 2027 AFCON tournament that Kenya will co-host with Uganda and Tanzania.
