    The government has continued with its push to incorporate nuclear power into the energy matrix, to enable the country to meet its industrialisation agenda. Speaking at an induction meeting in Kisumu, Nuclear Power and Energy Agency chairman Lawrence Gumbe indicated that the planned nuclear plant in Siaya would not only eliminate the need to import power, but produce enough to spur local industries.
