The Kenya Film Commission Chief Executive Officer Timothy Owase has hailed cultural events being undertaken by Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutions saying such forums help nurture young talents. Speaking during a cultural week in Nyeri, Owase said the future is no longer about the blue collar jobs but will be driven by those with unique talents which, they can easily monetarize.The Cultural Week held at Nyeri National Polytechnic served as a reminder of the vital role of technical institutions in promoting creativity among the youth. The colorful event featured cultural dances, innovation displays and modeling, where Victor Nyaga and Delphine Kwamboka were crowned Mr. and Miss Nyeri National Polytechnic 2025. The institution’s Principal Dr. David Mwangi said the creative arts curriculum aims to empower youth and celebrate diversity.
