Leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza administration claim that former President Uhuru Kenyatta is the principal financier of the Linda Mwananchi movement, insisting that efforts to destabilise William Ruto's government will not succeed.
Speaking during a youth empowerment event in Taita Taveta County, the leaders criticised opposition figures and urged Kenyans to reject politics of hate and division. Leaders from the ODM wing backing President Ruto also reaffirmed their support for his second-term bid.
