UK shifts military exercise from Kenya

The stalled renewal of the Kenya–UK Defence Cooperation Agreement has forced the relocation of a planned military training exercise that had been scheduled to take place in Kenya from September this year. According to a spokesperson for the UK Ministry of Defence, the licences required to facilitate the exercise have not been issued, prompting the decision to move the training to another location.
