Court finds Obado, Oyamo guilty of Sharon Otieno's murder

The High Court has found former Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his former personal assistant, Michael Oyamo, guilty of the 2018 murder of Sharon Otieno. The court ruled that the accused played a central role in the events that culminated in Sharon Otieno's abduction and murder. It held that the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that Obado and his co-accused had a motive and orchestrated the plot to eliminate Sharon Otieno.
