Kenya Kwanza removes Dr. Boni Khalwale as majority whip

Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has been kicked out of his position as the chief whip of the majority party in the senate after Kenya Kwanza senators unanimously voted to remove him from office. Khalwale, who campaigned for the United Opposition candidate in the just concluded Malava constituency, has been replaced by Bungoma Senator Wakoli Wafula. This comes as the newly elected members of parliament were sworn in, with legislators in the broad-based government bragging that they will also trounce their opponents similarly in 2027.
