Kenyan coffee fetches higher prices at African Trade Fair

Kenyan coffee fetched upwards of 120 US dollars per kilogram at the African trade fair. An equivalent of over 15,500 shillings per kilogram in a landmark direct auction that linked farmers to international buyers. The auction brought together producers and buyers from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, as well as the Americas through a fully digital bidding process.
