Kibaki's Inheritance Row: Ochola Mwai, alleged firstborn of the late president gives his account

The case in which Jacob Ochola Mwai is challenging the will of the late President Mwai Kibaki at the High Court’s Family division, claiming to be his son, saw him describe to the court his close relationship with the late president. Jacob, who took the witness stand, narrated to Justice Eric Ogola how he met with his dad for the 1st time in 1982 when he was 22 years old and the numerous meetings they held thereafter that bonded their ties. And as Ruth Wamboi reports, the court also heard that in 2016, the late president assured Ochola he was going to give him a letter detailing his share.
