Kilifi residents urged to unblock clogged drainage to minimize flooding

A non-governmental organization in  Kilifi county dubbed ‘Progressive Welfare Association of  Malindi’  is leading community sensitization campaigns and clean-up exercises in the town  ahead of the anticipated El Niño rains. This comes in the wake of data that show more than 80,000 families in Kilifi County are at risk of being affected by the rains.
