Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has extended an olive branch to his political rivals in the Mt Kenya region, saying he has forgiven leaders who previously criticised or attacked him and is ready to work with them. Kindiki has also urged those disgruntled by his predecessor Rigathi Gachagua to shift Camp and join Kenya Kwanza. Speaking at his Irunduni home in Tharaka Nithi while hosting a delegation of grassroots women leaders from Meru, Prof Kindiki said political competition should not divide leaders from a region bound by deep cultural, economic and political ties.
