Kipchoge says marathon record could go lower, eyes global running project

    Former marathon world record holder Eliud Kipchoge says the world record can go lower than the 1 hour 59 minutes and 30 seconds mark if young Kenyan marathoners embrace technology and believe in themselves. Kipchoge, who ran under two hours in an unofficial marathon organised by Nike, has now shifted his focus to his new project of running a full marathon in all the continents of the world, starting with the Cape Town Marathon in South Africa.
