Police in Kirinyaga have seized 10 kilogrammes of suspected cannabis sativa valued at an estimated Sh300,000 and arrested a suspect in an operation in Wigiri Village, Inoi Ward.
According to Kirinyaga Central OCPD Evan M. Getembe, officers acted on information that the suspect was using a Boxer 125cc motorcycle to transport the narcotics. A search at his residence uncovered the suspected cannabis concealed inside a public address system, alongside a weighing machine and other items believed to have been stolen.
