Kisumu residents oppose sale of Safaricom shares, urge government to cut costs elsewhere

Residents of Kisumu have mounted a strong opposition to the proposed sale of safaricom shares, accusing government of living beyond its means. The residents proposed the selling of other entities that are not making profit and called for stringent austerity measures.
