Kitengela residents decry rise in trade of illicit brews in residential estates

    Residents of Kitengela town and its environs are decrying what they say is the rampant sale and consumption of illicit brews within residential areas. According to the residents, the unregulated trade comprising of drinks such as Busaa, Chang’aa, and counterfeit second generation liquors is reportedly thriving in estates such as Noonkopir and Kyangombe. They are now demanding action from the police and relevant bodies to crack the whip on those promoting and profiteering from the illegal trade.
