KMPDC alarmed by claims of faith-based healing

The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists’ Council has warned that it will take firm action against any health practitioner found to have endorsed or participated in unverified claims of faith-based healing during a recent religious crusade in Nakuru. The council says it is concerned that some licensed medical practitioners appeared to support claims that serious illnesses, including cancer and HIV/Aids were miraculously cured during a crusade led by preacher David Owuor in Nakuru.
