Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union members today took to the streets to present a petition containing their demands to the Ministry of Health and Council of Governors offices. the union that is threatening to go on strike should their demands not be met wants the government to fulfill its promise of hiring more doctors. The government through health CS Susan Nakhumicha and cog chairperson Anne Waiguru have however urged the union to halt their demonstration plans in order to create room for dialogue to take place. __
