    The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has assured parents that the government will cover the exam and invigilation fees despite a 100% budget cut. unveiling plans for a pilot assessment for grade 9, set to begin from July 15th to 19th next week, KNEC states the pilot known as Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) will aid the Ministry of Education in strengthening pathways for senior secondary school. For the first time, learners with severe disabilities will be assessed based on pre-vocational studies such as craft, jewelry making, beauty, and farming skills.
