Grade 9 pupils who are the pioneers of the Competency Based Curriculum are expected to undergo the first pilot assessment in readiness for their final Junior Secondary School assessment next year. The exercise that will be conducted by the Kenya National Examination Council from 15th to 19th July 2024 targets 5,875 learners drawn from 235 schools from both regular curriculum and special needs.
