The government, through the Kenya Tourism Board, has launched the “Hapa Ni Wapi” campaign to boost domestic tourism by encouraging Kenyans to explore local destinations through pocket-friendly pricing.
Speaking at Samburu National Park during the official launch, KTB Chief Executive Officer June Chepkemoi said there is growing interest among local travellers.
Chepkemoi said the initiative aims to promote sustainable growth in the tourism sector as part of broader efforts to attract millions of visitors.
The campaign will tour various unique destinations across the country, beginning with northern Kenya.
