Residents of Karamu in Kuria West –Sub-County have raised concerns over the failure by the Migori county government to operationalise the Karamu abattoir, five years after its completion. The Residents have questioned why the county government has remained silent on the project, which was intended to create employment opportunities and boost trade in the region.
