While addressing the professional, Irungu said that it is discouraging for the county to start recording cases of AIDS transmission from mother to child during delivery despite the efforts the county had undertaken. Following this Governor Irungu has urged all stakeholders in the health sector to work extra hard to fight the reemergence saying that he has put in place measures to ensure that there is a zero transmission of AIDS from Mother to child during delivery.
On his side, the County CEC for health said that the county will also train all leaders in matters health fro all sectors as a way to ensure the county is on the map as one of the most healthiest county.
