Laikipia revenue board sex-for-jobs scandal remains unresolved a year later

A section of leaders from Laikipia County has called for the release of a report on the probe on sex for jobs scandal that rocked the County revenue board in November last year. Led by nominated Member of County Assembly Amina Hussein, the leaders questioned why the matter was shelved despite the county governor Joshua Irungu disbanding the six-member revenue board a year ago to allow investigations. The County Assembly also went silent on its promise to conduct an independent probe on the matter.
