Striking members of Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU) and Kenya Universities Staff Union (KUSU) have accused the government of delaying the implementation of the 2021/2025 collective bargaining agreement which they say has adversely affected their working conditions. The strike which is now in its second week ,has affected learning in various universities in the country even as the lecturers vow not to relent until their grievances are addressed by the government.
