The Kanyakla Community-Based Organisation (CBO) has urged students in Migori County to remain disciplined and prioritize their education amid increasing cases of school unrest across the country. During a bursary award ceremony in Suna East Sub-County, the organisation supported needy learners with education scholarships while emphasizing mentorship, responsible behavior, and the importance of avoiding drug abuse, peer pressure, and early pregnancies.
Leaders encouraged students to embrace dialogue instead of violence when addressing school challenges, while parents welcomed the initiative, saying it would ease the burden of school fees and keep more children in school.
