A renewed campaign against female genital mutilation is taking shape in Samburu County, as a local organisation moves to address harmful cultural practices affecting the girl child. The initiative targets both parents and community leaders in a bid to end FGM and early marriages, through village-to-village sensitisation and educating residents.
