Man kills daughter in Kakamega, survives mob attack injuries

A 43-year-old man is under police guard in hospital after allegedly attacking his three young children with a machete, beheading his daughter, and leaving his two four-year-old twins in critical condition in Ikolomani, Kakamega County. The suspect, identified as Nathan Shimenga, is reported to have turned on his children following a domestic dispute with his wife, who left their home and returned to her parents. Family says he took the children to a riverside, where the brutal attack occurred before he was discovered.
