United Green Movement presidential hopeful David Maraga has warned that the push for Zoning across major political formations ahead of the general election risk eroding gains already made, to ensure a united country. Maraga, who toured Siaya County on Thursday, called for political sobriety, saying zoning will not only entrench ethnic divisions among Kenyans but would also deny voters the freedom to choose leaders based on merit. He, at the same time, condemned the use of goons to disrupt political rallies, warning that if not contained, the culture would soon plunge the country into anarchy.
