Matatu operators suspend strike for two weeks

Matatu operators have now suspended their nationwide strike for the next two weeks, as they await investigations into the torching of several matatus that sparked outrage within the industry. Speaking in Nairobi, Matatu Association officials, however, warned that they will advise on the course of action if accountability is not achieved at the end of the 14-day period.
