Media group decries attacks on journalists

The Kenya Media Sector Working Group has expressed concern over increasing attacks on journalists, the use of hired goons to disrupt news coverage and deteriorating working conditions in the media industry. The group is calling for urgent action to protect press freedom, enhance journalists' safety and improve their welfare amid growing threats against media practitioners.
