Media group raises alarm over attacks on journalists

The Kenya Media Sector Working Group has raised concern over increasing attacks on journalists, the use of hired goons to disrupt news coverage and deteriorating working conditions in the media industry. The group is calling for urgent action to protect press freedom, enhance the safety of journalists and improve their welfare amid growing threats to media operations.
