Migori County Government has distributed 131 beds and mattresses worth KSh3 million to level two and three health facilities in a major effort to improve maternal and newborn healthcare services across the county.
Speaking to the media, County Executive Committee Member for Health, Calleb Opondi, said the beds will be supplied to 131 health facilities across all 40 wards to strengthen service delivery and improve patient care. He noted that most residents rely on dispensaries and health centres within their communities, making it essential to equip them with adequate medical infrastructure.
