MIGORI RESIDENTS REFUSE PARTY ZONING TALKS

A section of residents in Migori County has threatened to boycott next year’s General Election if party zoning is imposed on them. Speaking in Migori town, the residents expressed concern that zoning would deny them the freedom to exercise their democratic rights. Some warned they would opt out of voting altogether if forced to choose from pre-selected candidates.
