MIGORI STADIUM CONSTRUCTION HITS 70 PERCENT COMPLETION, SET FOR DECEMBER DEADLINE

The construction of the 15,000-seat Migori Stadium has reached 70 percent completion and is expected to be ready by December this year. Project Manager Charles Wambura says roofing works are underway, while grass planting is set to begin within a week. The facility will also feature floodlights and other social amenities. Migori County Commissioner Kisilu Mutua attributed the delay to the expansion of the stadium’s capacity from 10,000 to 15,000 seats.
