The ministry of health is calling for heightened vigilance following a surge in cholera cases across the country. A total of 153 cases have been reported in the counties of Migori, Kisumu, and Nairobi. Public Health Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni has urged the public to prioritize hygiene practices, including boiling drinking water especially during the ongoing rainy season.
