Moses Otieno Dola who was convicted of manslaughter and jailed for 10 years for the killing of his wife Sarah Wambui Kabiru a reporter in 2011, is now a free man. Dola who was sentenced after pleading guilty to the crime in 2018, was released after serving 7 years behind bars. This is after he successfully filed an application seeking his early release on grounds he had spent 23 months in custody prior to the commencement of the case.
