A group of activists, health workers, and well-wishers from Nandi county have kicked off a 40km charity walk from Kapsabet town to Eldoret, to create awareness on the importance of blood donation. The walk, dubbed "Valentine’s Blood Donation 40km Road Walk," aims to collect blood to held cancer patients and victims of road accidents in Nandi and Uasin Gishu counties.
