National assembly majority leader Kimani Ichung’wa has written to National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung’u seeking information on the list of individuals and firms who have benefitted from tax waivers. Ichungwa said the CS is expected to respond within two weeks with information on waivers from 2018. He has refuted claims that the Kenya kwanza administration was using the push to have Kenyans pay taxes to settle political scores.
