New comer Zimbabwe’s Nyasha Muyambo was in sublime form on the final day of the safari tour second leg in Limuru with an impressive three under par score for the second day in a row. This gave him an overall score of six under par 282, to claim his maiden victory in the tour. Muyambo managed six birdies spoilt by three bogeys, and that was enough to see off his countryman visitor Mapwanya by five clear shots. Mapwanya finished second with a score of one under par 287. In third place was Mike Kisia with a level par 288 with Robson Chinhoi and John Karichu completing the top five. A total of 23 players out of the 65 players had made the second round to battle it out for the prize and a trophy for the amateur golfers, won by home player Dennis Maara.
